    NSHSS is excited to announce our 2012 event schedule. NSHSS sponsored events are offered to help members connect with like-minded people and learn first-hand from university educators and students.  Invitations are extended electronically to the email address in your member profile.  Please keep your contact information current in your member profile so you do not miss out on opportunities. Also note that most NSHSS member events are invitation only and have limited capacity. Certain events may be open to only select members based on geography or grade level (i.e. high school vs. college, etc.).


    The following events will open for registration approximately 30 days prior to the event:

  • Check Out Colleges at a NACAC College Fair

    NSHSS partners with the National Association for College Admissions Counseling (NACAC). Through this partnership we are able to provide our members with access to attend college fairs that are held through out the United States.

  • NSHSS Attends European Council of International Schools Conference

    NSHSS will be attending the annual European Council of International Schools (ECIS) Conference later this month, the most comprehensive international venue of its kind in the world. The Conference attracts over 1600 participants who are teachers, heads of school, guidance counselors and college admissions personnel.

  • NSHSS Celebrates Scholars at our First Gulf Coast/New Orleans Event

    NSHSS welcomed scholars, parents, and educators to our first event in the Gulf Coast area, held on September 24, 2011, on the Tulane University campus. The event included a keynote address from NSHSS Chair Claes Nobel, scholarship presentations, educator recognition, and a college panel Q&A session.

  • NSHSS Celebrates 8th Annual Scholar's Day in Washington, D.C.

    NSHSS members, families, educators, and organizational partners from across the country and abroad gathered on July 29 at The Georgetown University Conference Center in Washington, D.C., to celebrate and recognize excellence during our 8th annual Scholar's Day program. Mr. Nobel presented scholarships, recognized honored educators, and met with students and parents following the program for photographs.

  • Scholars Celebrate NSHSS Day at The Carter Presidential Center

    Nearly 500 NSHSS members, families, and teachers gathered for our annual scholar recognition and college fair program at The Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, December 4, 2010, a day declared as NSHSS Day in the state of Georgia by Governor Sonny Perdue.
