Todd Corley, Abercrombie & Fitch VP, presents scholarships to NSHSS Chair Claes Nobel

Todd Corley, Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion with Abercrombie & Fitch, announced a new partnership with NSHSS at The Carter Center Member Holiday Event on December 1, in Atlanta, Georgia. Abercrombie & Fitch (A&F) sells high quality, collegiate-inspired, casual luxury clothing for young adults. A&F will support NSHSS scholars through a $75,000 commitment, establishing the Abercrombie & Fitch Global Diversity & Leadership Scholar Awards. The worldwide competition is based on essay submissions from NSHSS members exploring their perspectives on the theme of diversity and inclusion. Submissions will be judged on ingenuity and quality. The application is now available on the website. The deadline is April 15, 2008.

Mr. Corley expressed his enthusiasm about working with NSHSS students during The Carter Center event commenting that "In a world so connected by commonalities yet sometimes divided by differences, this partnership is exciting because it creates a platform where tomorrow's leaders--from around the world--can provide a thoughtful perspective on why it is important to embrace differences. It provides us a unique opportunity to identify the type of talent we need to help grow our brands domestically and internationally; we are able to support the growth and development of tomorrow's leaders through scholarship and education."
