NSHSS has developed a number of programs for the benefit of our members, educators, parents and soon for counselors as well.  We believe these programs are essential to further our mission of fostering excellence in our student members. 

NSHSS Ambassador Program

The NSHSS Ambassador Program provides our high school members an opportunity to get involved and refine their leadership skills.  more

NSHSS Student Council

NSHSS designed our Student Council as a leadership program allowing NSHSS members now in college to provide advice to high school students through articles, emails, social media postings, and through participation in member events.  more

Educators of Distinction

NSHSS believes that educators should be recognized, particularly by those who serve as a role model and positive influence in their students' lives. NSHSS high school members are given the opportunity to select the teacher who has made the most significant contribution to their academic career..  more
 
Counselors of Distinction

Currently under development to provide recognition to counselors, this program will highlight the crucial role played by high school guidance counselors.  Guidance Counselors share with NSHSS a goal of ensuring that students and their parents have access to resources regarding the college admissions process and the student's transition to college life.  Look for details to be released on this program in the near future. more
