Review Scholarship Application Tips gathered from scholarship providers and recipients

Scholarship updates are posted monthly in our newsletter Scholarship Updates article and weekly during the academic year in our "Scholarship Sunday" postings on our facebook page.

As scholarships open, they are posted online in your member dashboard under "Apply for Scholarships" on the left side of your screen once you are logged in.  Be sure to set your contact preferences on your member profile to allow communication from NSHSS in order to have scholarship access details.

For most scholarships, you will need to include a personal statement; resume of honors, awards, leadership activities, extracurriculars, and community service; educator recommendation; transcript, and photo. If you are applying for more than one scholarship, you may submit one transcript and recommendation to use for multiple scholarships. The educator recommendation form is online and the link is provided in the scholarship applications.  Please review all guidelines for particular scholarships before submitting the application.
