Claes Nobel Academic Scholarships

We are proud to present the Claes Nobel Academic Scholarships to inspire and reward top NSHSS members.  NSHSS members have the opportunity to compete for $5,000 scholarships to be awarded annually. Selection is based on the following criteria:

  • Academic performance
  • Demonstrated leadership
  • School and extracurricular activities and awards
  • Community service
  • Educator recommendation
  • Personal statement

Eligibility

NSHSS high school members may apply for the Claes Nobel Academic Scholarships.   
 
Important Dates

The application for this scholarship is now closed for 2012.  The selection of semifinalists is now in process. Semifinalists will be notified via email and mail by the end of January 2012 and requested to submit more material by March 15, including personal statement, transcript, and teacher recommendation. Finalists will be selected for $5,000 Claes Nobel Academic Scholarships and for $1,000 National Scholar Awards.

Members who joined NSHSS after December 15, 2011, may apply for this scholarship for the next year, during the fall 2012 application season.
