Di Yerbury International Scholar Awards

Five $1,000 awards in honor of Dr. Di Yerbury, NSHSS Advisory Board Member, are being established for NSHSS members who will pursue international study during college. The funds can be used for college tuition, books, and expenses, including study/travel expenses upon approval by NSHSS.  Professor Yerbury, Vice-Chancellor Emeritus of Macquarie University, is the first woman to have headed an Australian university. She is passionate about encouraging awareness of the value of international educational and cultural experiences in helping young people to develop into compassionate leaders and world citizens. 

Eligibility

All NSHSS college members who are enrolling in a study abroad term or semester.
