NSHSS Student Council 2007-08

We are pleased to introduce our Student Council members for the 2007-08 academic year. These outstanding college students give advice based on their own experiences and offer information on Society programs, scholarships, and activities throughout the upcoming year. Membership on the Student Council provides an important leadership opportunity beyond high school. Members graduating from high school in 2008 will be eligible to apply for next year's Council.  We are especially pleased to include a "senior council" of previous council members who are continuing to serve and provide advise to members as well as new council members. Council Member Antonia Parris Middle Island, NY Pennsylvania State University Antonia served as her school's Student Council President, as well as Class President for three years.  She also founded a "President's Council" for the leaders of all of her high school clubs to learn how to better strengthen the school and the community. Antonia also ttraveled to Australia with Mr. Nobel and NSHSS this summer “I  have learned how to approach and analyze difficult situations and help set up plans that are fair to all involved.  I have also developed perseverance and an indomitable spirit that should serve me well in helping members of NSHSS.”
