NSHSS Student Council 2006-07

We are pleased to introduce our Student Council members for the 2006-07 academic year. These outstanding college students give advice based on their own experiences and offer information on Society programs, scholarships, and activities throughout the upcoming year. Membership on the Student Council provides an important leadership opportunity beyond high school. Members graduating from high school in 2007 will be eligible to apply for next year's Council.  We are especially pleased to include a "senior council" of previous council members who are continuing to serve and provide advise to members as well as new council members. Council Member Brennan Eberle Cary, North Carolina The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill Brennan is a National Scholar Award recipient who also received the National Outdoor Leadership School scholarship to an outdoor leadership training program in the Alaskan wilderness. “Serving on the NSHSS Student Council is a great leadership opportunity and a chance to share my experiences with others about to got through the same process of applying for scholarships and colleges.” Click here to read about Brennan’s Alaskan adventure.
