NSHSS Student Council 2007-08

We are pleased to introduce our Student Council members for the 2007-08 academic year. These outstanding college students give advice based on their own experiences and offer information on Society programs, scholarships, and activities throughout the upcoming year. Membership on the Student Council provides an important leadership opportunity beyond high school. Members graduating from high school in 2008 will be eligible to apply for next year's Council.  We are especially pleased to include a "senior council" of previous council members who are continuing to serve and provide advise to members as well as new council members. Council Member Kate Cruz Flores Stamford, Connecticut Johns Hopkins University Kate is a National Scholar Award recipient who is also a talented musician planning to become a neurosurgeon. Read some of her tips about lessons she learned "outside of class." “I would LOVE to help high school students prepare for college through serving on the NSHSS Student Council.”
