NSHSS Student Council 2007-08

We are pleased to introduce our Student Council members for the 2007-08 academic year. These outstanding college students give advice based on their own experiences and offer information on Society programs, scholarships, and activities throughout the upcoming year. Membership on the Student Council provides an important leadership opportunity beyond high school. Members graduating from high school in 2008 will be eligible to apply for next year's Council.  We are especially pleased to include a "senior council" of previous council members who are continuing to serve and provide advise to members as well as new council members. Council Member Marie Harding Boise, Idaho The University of San Diego Marie graduated as the valedictorian of her high school class and is studying international relations in combination with pre-med courses.  Read Marie's remarks to members at the 2006 event at The Carter Center. “I was surrounded by a wonderful support network in high school that helped guide me on my path to college. As part of the NSHSS Student Council, I would love to be able to share the wisdom and life lessons I have received along with they with other students.”
