NSHSS Student Council 2007-08

We are pleased to introduce our Student Council members for the 2007-08 academic year. These outstanding college students give advice based on their own experiences and offer information on Society programs, scholarships, and activities throughout the upcoming year. Membership on the Student Council provides an important leadership opportunity beyond high school. Members graduating from high school in 2008 will be eligible to apply for next year's Council.  We are especially pleased to include a "senior council" of previous council members who are continuing to serve and provide advise to members as well as new council members. Council Member Santi Wong Baldwin, New York Fordham University Santi is a National Scholar Award recipient who served as president of her graduating class, the Key Club, and her school’s Leadership Council. She is interest in helping discover alternative energy sources. “I am glad to provide insight for members regarding college life, scholarly advice, and academic growth.  I want to be a role model for those members who may be confused, lost, and disoriented about the college process, someone who knew how to write a college essay, or even someone who knew how to pass an interview.  I want to provide members with the valuable advice that I needed.”
