NSHSS Student Council 2007-08

We are pleased to introduce our Student Council members for the 2007-08 academic year. These outstanding college students give advice based on their own experiences and offer information on Society programs, scholarships, and activities throughout the upcoming year. Membership on the Student Council provides an important leadership opportunity beyond high school. Members graduating from high school in 2008 will be eligible to apply for next year's Council.  We are especially pleased to include a "senior council" of previous council members who are continuing to serve and provide advise to members as well as new council members. Council Member Ursula Dilley Salem, VA Savannah College of Art & Design Ursula Dilley is a National Scholar Award winner who wishes to contribute a different college perspective as a fine arts student. “I wish to serve on the Student Council because I believe in the mission of the Society and hope to join in the efforts of its members to improve the world through their unique individual strengths.  I would like to encourage high school students to make every effort to achieve at their highest levels, because I have experienced the benefits of setting high personal and academic standards.”
