One of the primary focuses of NSHSS is to provide our student members with resources and information about top colleges in the United States. We do this by hosting member events on college and university campuses, by sending verification letters to colleges for our members during the application process, and by providing insight from our college members who are currently navigating the university experience. Through frequent online communication, NSHSS keeps its members updated about the latest news regarding the transition to college.
Student Council Member John Zhou, National Scholar Award recipient, continues to share his experiences from the field-that is, the Halls of Harvard. John was named by "USA Today" as a member of its 20th annual "All-USA High School Academic First Team" in 2006.
