Association of International Education (EAIE) Conference in Norway
Founder and Chairman Claes Nobel, senior member of the family which established the Nobel Prizes, believes in the power of the youth to change the world. Mr. Nobel travels extensively, inspiring the youth to become ambassadors for peace in the United States and abroad. Mr. Nobel is passionate about congratulating and inviting our international scholars into our diverse family of aspiring leaders, and sends a special "Welcome" to our friends overseas!
Since our founding in 2002, NSHSS has expanded to encompass members in over 120 countries. Many international students are finding great value in membership with the Society. Student Council Representative Anya Rasulova, from Uzbekistan, now a senior at Brown University remarks:
"Membership in NSHSS has given much to me. First of all, it is a great network of bright students like you! I was a Claes Nobel Academic Scholarship recipient in 2004, and I would like to thank NSHSS for that with all my heart! It made my dream of attending Brown University possible. I would strongly encourage you to make the most out of your NSHSS experience as well."
In order to better serve our members globally and connect with major international universities, NSHSS is gathering with over 1,500 representatives from top universities around the world at the European Association of International Education (EAIE) conference in Trondheim, Norway. The conference is being hosted at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), a center for technological education and scientific research. Participants will debate, discuss and explore the many and multifaceted issues and challenges of international education. Mr. Nobel believes in encouraging the world's youth to become global citizens, and this includes connecting students with opportunities to learn at the world's premier institutions.
