The National Society of High School Scholars hosts a series of member events around the country to provide personal and professional development opportunities for our members.
On Monday, May 13th, the University of Melbourne is hosting an exciting gathering for prospective future students. Students and educators will hear firsthand about the scholarly and personal adventures that others undertook while studying at Melbourne. University representatives will also give a presentation on what students should expect during their studies, and how to prepare a successful application. The event is being held at the Australian Embassy in Washington, D.C., which will also provide a unique glance into U.S.-Australian relations. Bring yourself, your family, and/or a friend to explore a life-changing study choice. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided.
NSHSS will be hosting its second member event of 2013 on the campus of Saint Louis University, May 31, 2013. During the event, members can explore career and scholarship opportunities with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as well as speak to university representatives and hear from our corporate supporters. This member event will feature a Career Preparation seminar hosted by Missouri State University. The event will begin at 10:00 am with a college fair featuring and international university admissions officials who are eager to recruit NSHSS members. The St. Louis NSHSS member event is a wonderful opportunity to meet Chairman and Founder Claes Nobel, senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes. Please check your email for your invitation and to see the full agenda of activities. We look forward to meeting you in St. Louis!
