Time management
Make sure that you plan your time table carefully. When are you going to wake up and go to bed? At what time will you need to leave your hostel or dorm room to get to your class on time? When you are going to study? Make your time table properly and follow it.
Follow the rules
Follow you college’s schedule and rules properly. Don’t skip classes because it will affect your studies and bring you poor results.
Study well
Once you fall behind in your classes it will be difficult to catch up. Unlike in high school, many professors don’t collect homework or, ask if you did the readings. Make an effort to ask questions during class and visit your professors’ office hours to get extra help.
Get involved
Get involved in your studies and college activities.
Be careful
Don’t trust strangers. Always keep emergency numbers in your mobile phone/planner.
Act wisely
Be responsible. Solve your own problems and manage your own things.
Take part in extra curricular activities
Keep busy yourself. In your spare time take part in sports, drama, music, volunteering or other activities of your interest. You can also visit the library, internet café, café, cinema or other shows in your spare time.

Be helpful and friendly with others.
Be responsible
Be responsible and focus on your studies to build up your career. Give respect to your teachers.
Prepare your notes
Prepare your notes and revise your homework or whatever you have been taught daily; it will lessen your burden during exam time.
Take care
Take care of your belongings and keep them in a safe place to avoid theft.
Call Home
Call your family and friends regularly. It will ease your loneliness and remove your tension.
Exercise regularly
Do regular exercise or yoga to make yourself fit. A healthy mind is in a healthy body.
