NSHSS is continually expanding its scholarship opportunities for members to help fulfill its mission of recognizing academic excellence and encouraging members to apply their unique talents, vision, and potential for the betterment of themselves and the world. We have now awarded over one million dollars in scholarships since our founding in 2002. Below are upcoming deadlines - our other scholarships are described on the website. Claes Nobel Academic Scholarships and National Scholar Awards
Semifinalists have been selected and notified by email and by mail. Those selected will be requested to submit additional material, including transcript, personal statement, and educator recommendation. The scholarship committee will award both Claes Nobel Academic Scholarships of $5,000 and National Scholar Awards of $1,000 from the pool of semifinalists. Winners are selected based on the strength of their academic record, demonstrated leadership, service activities, personal statement, and educator recommendation.
Vesalius College Academic Competition
Vesalius College is in the process of selected the winners for the academic competition sponsored exclusively for NSHSS members, providing cash prizes of $500, $300 and $200 to the top three winners. Winners will be announced by March 9.

Envision EMI Youth Leadership Programs – download application
Envision EMI provides NSHSS members opportunities to enhance leadership and critical life skills, to travel, to meet and network with peers, and to personally discover careers that can define and help shape your future. In addition to the exclusive college scholarships available to NSHSS members and the program savings for all NSHSS members, Envision EMI is offering five (5) program scholarships covering the cost of their life-changing career and leadership programs. Additionally, all NSHSS members who attend the programs will automatically receive a $200 tuition discount. This discount is not offered by Envision to any other groups.
