NSHSS is continually expanding its scholarship opportunities for members to help fulfill its mission of recognizing academic excellence and encouraging members to apply their unique talents, vision, and potential for the betterment of themselves and the world. SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE REMINDER!
If you participated in The Longest Day Alzheimer’s Association event, be sure to apply for the Alzheimer’s Association Leadership Awards competition—15 $1,000 awards and one top prize of $2,500 will be awarded. To complete for the awards, submit an essay or video describing your experience and activities after participating June 20 in The Longest Day event. Entries must be submitted by July 13, 2012, to be considered. Submit an essay of up to 500 words with photos describing your activities on June 20 to scholarships@nshss.org OR submit a video no longer than 3 minutes (include a brief description) to YouTube and email the description and link to scholarships@nshss.org by July 13. Use the subject line: The Longest Day.
