NSHSS will celebrate its 10th anniversary at our annual Scholar's Day recognition program on August 3, 2012, at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
This occasion offers a variety of opportunities including a CIA workshop in the morning and a member-only college fair in the afternoon with university representatives from around the world that want to know more about you and invite you to apply for scholarship and admission to their universities! In additional the member event, workshops, and college fair, Abercrombie & Fitch is sponsoring our reception to honor members.
The NSHSS member event is a wonderful opportunity to meet Chairman and Founder Claes Nobel, senior member of the family that established the Nobel Prizes. Other notable speakers include NSHSS Advisory Board member Dr. Bernice A. King and representatives from the U.S. Department of State and the Office of Naval Research, among others. Mr. Nobel will also present scholarships to recent awardees and recognize outstanding educators.
Also please keep in mind our upcoming member events in Denver, Colorado, on October 6, and our annual Holiday recognition program at The Carter Presidential Center in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 1.
