We hope you enjoy the Scholar's Journal, a publication designed to be informative, interesting, and yet another forum for us to share member accomplishments and articles.

Projects Abroad - International Volunteering and Career Exploration

Feedback from our recent member surveys indicates that international volunteerism is at the top of your wish list. We are pleased to announce an exciting new opportunity for our members – we have signed an exclusive formal agreement with Projects Abroad, an organization that connects people with volunteer experiences all around the world.

Projects Abroad offers its volunteers the ability to make a worthwhile contribution in different countries while offering hands-on experience in a variety of career areas. The organization provides a framework which includes the best in quality, variety, support staff, and safety.

Bolivia, Chile, China, Ghana, India, Mexico, Mongolia, Nepal, Peru, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, Togo, Ukraine, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka

College Matching Status

We are creating a database program that will allow members to connect with other members based on career interests and college acceptances. You will be able to see other members who share your career interests and where members will be attending college. When the program is ready, we will send everyone an email link to sign up and enter their information. It is your choice to participate and you can elect to have your contact info (email only) visible or private to other members.

Special Congratulations

It seems that posting college acceptances has become popular and a little too large for this format. We are working on a more efficient format to display your good news on college acceptances and will have this up shortly.

Honor Cords

If you would like to order an honor cord to wear at graduation or an honors assembly, please check with your school to make sure the cord is allowed. Also, in order to insure delivery on time, please order by April 1st. Click here to order
