About me
I am a 17-year-old senior who plans to achieve a degree in anthropology. My main interests lie in the arts: music, writing, and reading, as well as history. I am the owner and webmaster of Hardy-Boys.com, which also includes being the founder and editor of "The Bayport Gazette," a hybrid experiment crossing the paths of traditional print journalism and the dynamic content of the web. I live in a very rural area on a 150-acre family farm. I love to play the piano and dulcimer and to learn about new languages and cultures.

How I hope to make a difference
I do not plan to take the world by storm; often it is the small things in life that can have the greatest impact on someone. Via my anthropology degree and immersion in other cultures and peoples, I hope to bring understanding and compassion to the South, my homeland region. My goal is to become a secondary educator or college professor.

My future
I plan to earn a B.A. in anthropology and an M.A. in linguistics.

Philosophy
"When we show our respect for other living things, they respond with respect for us."

How I hope to make a difference
I hope to make a difference in the world by helping the community. In order to help the world, helping the community is the first step. If it is possible to help the community unite, then think what we can do to unite the world.

My future
My plan for the future is to attend Temple University and major in pharmacy.

About me
I am an outspoken, liberal-minded individualist. There is no challenge out there in the world I cannot face and overcome, as long as I am resolute about it. However, my best qualities are the ones I've obtained through my life-altering bond with my family and friends.

How I hope to make a difference
Dentistry is my passion. Improving a person's physical appearance in a way that they can outwardly be more confident of themselves is how I hope to make an impact in this world. I want others to share my vision of beauty through the singular perfection of their smile and change lives for the better.

My future
I plan to finish my four-year undergraduate program with a B.A. degree in biology. I will then go on to a graduate college of dentistry, preferably Harvard Dental and complete my Master's, becoming a certified dentist. I envision myself, following graduation, furthering my education and earning a doctorate in oral surgery. However, if not, I will most likely travel the world to study abroad with international dentists.

Philosophy
"Women are not inherently passive or peaceful. We're not inherently anything but human."
