We now have the opportunity in partnership with Macquarie University in Sydney to offer a learning
adventure and event for NSHSS members only and their families. The dates are July 22-August 2, 2006. Australia is the
perfect locale for this seminar on global leadership and cultural diversity. Mr. Nobel will be on hand,
leading discussions and interacting with attendees. Come and
explore one of the natural wonders of the world, develop your leadership potential, spend time with fellow
NSHSS members, and learn directly from one of our time's most renowned environmental leaders.
SOME TRIP PARTICULARS--You will be:
- Staying on campus at an Australian University
- Learning about the culture and people of Australia
- Touring the city of Sydney, including the Olympic stadium and world-famous Opera House
- Visiting Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef
- Meeting with elders from local aboriginal tribe
- Attending lectures on cultural diversity and global leadership
- Attending lectures on the transition to college life and identifying skills to help students succeed
- Enjoying an ecological field day at Blue Mountain
- Visiting a kangaroo and a koala park and interacting with some new friends
- Visiting an Australian high school
- The trip is open to NSHSS members and parents who wish to serve as chaperones.
