About me
I am focused, determined, and passionate about everything I do. I earned a
black belt in karate when I was 10 years old. When I was 11 years old, I began
delivering an early morning daily newspaper, "The Burlington County Times." I am
still a BCT news carrier, which requires me to get up at 4:15 a.m. on school
days. In 2003, I was named Regional Carrier of the Year. And, I have been named
District Carrier several times. I have been a straight-A student all through
school, and have been ranked 1st or 2d in my class (of 218 students) all though
high school. I have played two sports - soccer and basketball - from
kindergarten though high school. I have traveled to many of the areas of the
country to compete in tournaments in both sports. In July 2004, I spent two
weeks in Argentina with the Northwestern University's soccer coaches, playing
soccer with many Argentinean teams under the guidance of former coaches for the
Argentinean National Team. In December 2004, I traveled to Hawaii with my
varsity basketball team to compete in a tournament there.
How I hope to make a difference in the world
I will educate myself to the fullest to propel myself into the professional world. Once established, I hope to use my success as a catapult for minority students and create opportunities for them to become successful in their own ways.
My future
I hope to attend an Ivy League school (Princeton, Yale or University of Pennsylvania), and to play intercollegiate soccer while there. I plan to study business, and to get an MBA and a law degree. One of my long-terms goals is to create educational and job opportunities for minority students.

About me
The best way to describe who I am to look at who means the most in my life: my two brothers; my grandmother, and my best friend Nicole. These people that are most important to me share my values of honestly, integrity, and compassion. They possess a sense of determination and always put their best foot forward even in the most challenging of situations.
How I hope to make a difference in the world
Today, I plan on taking it one step at a time and impact others with my positive actions. As for the future, I hope to join the Peace Corps. It is in the Peace Corps that I plan to work with others so they can help themselves with dignity and ultimately help others. To make a difference in the world I feel that it must start with making a difference in one person's life.
My future
Planning for the future is very exciting and I am looking forward to giving it my all. After high school I plan on attending a university. There I wish to study Marine Biology and obtain a doctorate degree. I will then join the Peace Corps.
Philosophy
Many times I have heard people ask, "Why are we here? What is our purpose?" Robert Byrne once said, "The purpose of life is a life of purpose." I agree with this quote completely. We are on this planet to make sure our lives are fulfilling and meaningful. Whether it be raising your children or impacting nations.
