Jacqueline Johnson, a junior at Vista Ridge High School in Leander, Texas, now holds the title of “Miss Travis County Teen USA,” an event under the affiliated pageant system of Donald Trump. A new member of The National Society of High School Scholars, she is humbled by her recent honors: “I have been so proud to represent the title of Miss Travis County Teen USA, but then to be formally recognized as a NSHSS member by Mr. Claes Nobel is simply overwhelming! I truly look forward to the day when I am able to meet Mr. Nobel in person to thank him for this honor.”
In addition to representing her county title, she is also involved in mentoring young girls with the Girls of Promise Non-Profit Organization, and makes frequent guest speaker appearances, most recently at the “National Day” celebration held at Fort Hood Military Base in Killeen, Texas, and “The Links, Inc. Charity Ball 2007" in Austin.
Jacqueline has been acting since the age of three, and recently appeared in a photo opportunity representing her Travis County title in an on-set photo with actor Channing Tatum during the filming of “Stop Loss,” where she was cast as a grieving young widow at a funeral scene.
Johnson is also a Vista Ridge cheerleader and writer in her high school Journalism Department, and would like to eventually obtain a doctorate in psychology, with a minor in journalism.
