Take Advantage of Summer Programs
We love to hear from our members about their experiences with summer programs that enrich their lives, from travel to internships to volunteer work. Check out summer opportunities with our partners; we encourage you to continue to take advantage of these. Here are some fundraising tips to help make your adventure a reality.
National Honors Convocation
NSHSS has partnered with the National Honors Convocation. National Honors Convocation was founded by successful professionals in the fields of business, law, medicine, and television and film. These extraordinary individuals share a strong passion for their careers and a desire to help exceptional youth achieve similar goals. NHC offers NSHSS members and other honor students the opportunity to attend programs in these career fields or in leadership. Your membership in NSHSS pre-qualifies you academically for the NHC program of your choice and NHC offers two scholarships exclusively for NSHSS members. NHC is proud to offer a comprehensive scholarship program for students who require financial aid to take advantage of this great opportunity. Summer programs are held June 18-27 and June 30-July 9 at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles or July 26-August 4 at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Visit the NHC website for more information or call toll-free at 866-856-6819. Educators please visit the educator section of the NHC website for information about nominating your outstanding students for this experience.
