The National Society of High School Scholars has expanded our outreach to members and future members! The addition of the NSHSS page on the popular social networking website Facebook has become a bona fide success. The page allows students to become “fans”; they can then share comments, view pictures of events and trips, view videos from the Society, and even find out information about future events. Our Facebook page is constantly updated and filled with useful information about college fairs, member events, and contests for members. Recently, NSHSS member Alexandria Rivard, high school senior from Plum Island, Massachusetts, won an iPod Nano by entering our Facebook contest.
We have grown in a few short weeks to over 3,000 fans from high schools and colleges all over the United States and the world. You can connect with other students from your school and future colleges. Post on our “wall” where you are in school or where you plan on going to school.
