U.S./Germany member Michael Bonne named "Teen Volunteer of the Year"
Michael Boone, self-described “NSHSS Army Brat” living abroad in Kaiserslautern, Germany, was recognized as the USAG-K (United States Army Garrison- Kaiserslautern) 2008 Teen Volunteer of the Year. The son of the U.S. Army Garrison Employee Readiness Program manager son, he was awarded this distinction at the garrison's Volunteer Recognition Ceremony April 24 at the Armstrong Community Club on Vogelweh Housing. In addition, he was awarded a $1,500 scholarship. Here, he is volunteering at the garrison's 2007 Army Family Action Plan Conference at the Armstrong Community Club.
