Spelman College Welcomes NSHSS

Spelman College recently hosted a special member event on its campus in Atlanta for NSHSS students to learn about this prestigious college and the admissions process. Students and their families spent the day on October 13 at Spelman with admissions officers, professors, and Spelman students. The day began with a gathering in the Camile Olivia Hanks Cosby Auditorium with a welcome from Spelman President Dr. Beverly Daniel Tatum, who expressed her enthusiasm for the caliber of the NSHSS members present. Dr. Tatum, a renowned scholar, teacher, clinical psychologist, and race relations expert, has been president of Spelman College since August 2002. -MORE-
