NSHSS Co-Sponsors College Mini-Camp Workshops

NSHSS is pleased to co-sponsor the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling (SACAC) Mini-Camp College Program, along with the College Board and ACT.  These free college workshop sessions are conducted by SACAC members, and are designed to educate students about the college search, financial aid resources, and the college admission process. 

On Saturday, February 7, 2009, NSHSS members and families gathered at the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta to hear advice from top college admissions officials.  NSHSS also helped present during the workshops, which provided students with information on creating a personal college search timeline, getting the most out of a college visit, putting together a solid application for review, and choosing the right college or university.  Additionally, information about the ACT testing process was available.  -MORE-
