IBM Innovation to be Greener Awards

IBM is sponsoring an academic competition for NSHSS members only, based on their perspectives on pressing local environmental issues. All NSHSS members in high school are eligible to compete. Submissions will be judged on practical content, innovation, and quality. Ten finalists will be selected as winners and assigned a mentor from the IBM Academy of Technology. The top three finalists will be brought to IBM’s laboratories in New York for interaction with top scientists and environmentalists. Submissions will be judged by an evaluation team from both IBM and NSHSS.

Applicants should develop a concept paper of three to five pages identifying an environmental issue. Submit online, where you will find specific examples, guidelines, and instructions.
