Victoria University, winner of 2007
Excellence in Student Support Award, offers NSHSS
scholarship
Victoria International was presented with the Education New
Zealand “Excellence in Student Support Award” in 2007. This
award goes to one recipient only. Victoria International was
chosen because it has put a range of student-focused initiatives
into place to help make International students better prepared
from the outset.
Victoria University of Wellington, in Wellington, New
Zealand, is an NSHSS collaborating university and is pleased to
offer a partial scholarship to an NSHSS applicant to enroll in
February 2009. The scholarship application can be downloaded
here. The scholarship deadline is December 1,
2008. It must accompany an
International application.

Victoria is located in Wellington, New Zealand’s capital
city. Wellington is a vibrant, cosmopolitan, compact city
situated at the southern tip of New Zealand’s north island,

Victoria University is a comprehensive university with seven
faculties offering undergraduate and postgraduate
internationally recognized, world class qualifications:
Architecture & Design, Commerce & Administration, Education,
Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Law, and Science.
Victoria’s comprehensive and flexible degrees allow students to

Victoria University has four campuses, three of which are
within a 15-minute walk of each other in the city centre. The
main Kelburn campus enjoys an idyllic setting with its elevated

School occupies the historic government buildings opposite
Parliament and the High Court and is adjacent to the Faculty of
Commerce and Administration, on the Pipitea campus. The Schools
of Architecture and Design occupy a large, purpose-built

The Faculty of Education is located in Karori, a 10-minute drive
from the heart of the city.
Victoria has one of New Zealand’s most successful student

Victoria International provides a specific support network for
international students.
Victoria is accredited with the US Department of Education to
administer US Financial Aid loans to US citizens and eligible
non-citizens.
