New Scholarship Opportunities

National Association for  College Admission Counseling
Scholarships for Writing!
NACAC is offering $1000 scholarships to high school or college students (ideally submissions should be from students who will enter postsecondary institutions as freshmen in Fall 2009 or college students who will be sophomores in Fall 2009) whose articles are selected for publication in the Winter 2009 Journal of College Admission special issue, "The Student Perspective: My Transition Experience." The Journal is looking for articles about the college admission process through the eyes of students. Only the most exceptional writers should submit articles to the editor at journal@nacacnet.org with the subject line "Journal Scholarship Submission." All articles are subject to blind review by the Editorial Board. Call for submissions is open now and closes September 1, 2008. Winners will be announced later in the fall and receive their scholarships in Winter 2009.
