One of the best known benefits of being an NSHSS member is access to organizational and company scholarships. But did you know that NSHSS also has a number of company sponsored scholarships available through the NSHSS Foundation?
The NSHSS Foundation was established to support education in the form of scholarships targeted to under-represented minorities who express interest in pursuing careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), business, economics, and public policy. Because the goal of the NSHSS Foundation is to help increase the representation of minorities in careers where they are under-represented, these scholarships are open to all students and you do not need to be an NSHSS member to apply.
Here are two company sponsored scholarships that are now accepting applications on the NSHSS foundation website:
Eligibility Requirements: High school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants may be U.S. or international students.
Scholarship Award: Ten $2,500 scholarships renewable for three years
Hollister Co. is continuing a college scholarships program for outstanding students who have academically persevered while experiencing bullying and for those who have led anti-bullying efforts in their schools and communities. (Formerly called the A&F Anti-Bullying Scholarship).

The $2,500 scholarships are renewable for up to three (3) years following the scholarship winner’s freshman year, depending on the student’s academic progress and continuing in full-time student status.
