This summer, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) hosted a CIA STEM Camp, in Langley, VA, exclusively to NSHSS members. This highly-selective opportunity brought together members from across the country, allowing them to explore different STEM careers within the CIA. During this 2-day experience, members learned first-hand about the inner workings of the CIA, such as combating Cyber Terrorism, crafting covert spy gear, Agency Directorate operations, and more.

Additionally, members toured the CIA museum, gaining valuable insight on the history of the CIA and some of its prominent innovators. Other activities included hands-on STEM exercises such as building a digital fingerprint entry system and constructing a Firefly spy kit.

Missed your chance to attend the STEM Camp this summer? Tune in next summer to apply for this highly-selective STEM Camp, exclusive to NSHSS members. In the meantime, learn more about the CIA and discover their student opportunities here.
