Does the college search & selection process feel daunting and intimidating? Do none of your current options feel just right? Are you struggling to figure out what kind of college is right for you? Join Ben, a recent graduate from Minerva University, as he leads an interactive workshop to help you discover YOUR ideal college experience. Using the design-thinking process, you will think critically and creatively about what you want the next step in your educational journey to look like. At the end of the workshop, you will leave with a concrete list of characteristics you want out of your ideal college experience, which will help you in both your applications and your eventual college choice.
Presenter Ben Chen
Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Ben recently graduated from Minerva University, where he studied Business and Economics. Having experienced a largely traditional educational path, he took a chance on a small, innovative, liberal arts undergraduate program that took him to 7 different countries around the world alongside a small & tight-knit community consisting of over 45 nationalities. Now, he works to seek out the next generation of curious, ambitious, and driven students to welcome into the life-changing college experience he had himself.
