Presenter - Ruth Kastrati

 

Ruth Kastrati has been with The University of Western Australia for ten years, including in her current role as International Relationships Manager.

Ruth has worked in the Higher Education (HE) sector since 2003, and has extensive experience in student recruitment (international and domestic), schools engagement, marketing, events, and admissions spanning the United Kingdom and Australia.

Ruth started her HE career whilst on a working holiday in the north of England at York St. John’s University Faculty of Health Sciences, before taking an exciting opportunity at Leeds Beckett University to work in international recruitment and marketing for the North Asia market.

During her eight years in England, she also completed her Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications with a specialization in International Marketing.

Following a relocation to Western Australia in 2011, she worked briefly at Edith Cowan University, International Admissions, before taking a permanent position at The University of Western Australia. In her current role she oversees the University’s stakeholder relationships and recruitment strategies in the regions of North America and South Asia, managing a team of four staff based in India.
