How to Be a Successful Intern

The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) is featuring a panel of experts who will share success tips for individuals who will be doing an internship. Join us for this live virtual event on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 4:00–5:30 PM U.S. EST.

An internship is one of the most valuable experiences a student can have to enhance their readiness for a full-time job. Studies have shown that an intern’s starting salary is almost $3,000 higher, that the intern gets a job three months faster, and interns report higher measures of career success.

NSHSS currently has 220,000 high school student and 550,000 college student members. We have learned from our members that many are seeking internships, wanting to be more competitive, and are eager to have a successful internship. Additionally, many employers have indicated that they will benefit greatly from interns that are ready to perform when they begin their internship experience.

So, what does it take to be a successful intern? Join us at this webinar on February 11 and hear the latest success tips.
