NSHSS members are invited to apply to participate in a highly-selective member event hosted by Stockholm University. Participants of NSHSS Nobel Week 2019 will travel to Stockholm, Sweden, for the festivities surrounding the 2019 Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies, including Nobel Lectures by the 2019 Nobel Laureates, the Nobel Week Dialogue, a tour of the Nobel Museum and more. This year, the event will take place from December 5, 2019 through December 10, 2019.
Applicants also have the opportunity to apply for one (1) of five (5) $1,500 travel grants to assist with travel and accommodation to and from the event. Those that wish to be considered for the travel grant must also provide an educator recommendation by the deadline, September 22, 2019.
If selected to participate in this event, you are responsible for your own airfare, meals, excursions and accommodations. Participants invited are welcome to bring one (1) guest with them to participate in the Nobel Week activities, but please note, there are several member-exclusive opportunities that guests cannot attend.
Eligibility Requirements: NSHSS high school seniors and college members
