David Santulli is the President and Founder of United Planet, an international non-profit organization with a mission to create a global community, one relationship at a time. Established in 2001, United Planet offers volunteer abroad, virtual internships, internships abroad, gap year volunteering, and global virtual exchange in more than 40 countries. Through collaboration with essential partners, United Planet is unlocking the potential of every person as a global citizen leader and catalyst to create a more peaceful, cohesive, and sustainable world. CNN selected United Planet as one of only ten nonprofit organizations in the world for their "Be the Change" initiative. Prior to United Planet, David lived in Tokyo, Japan for nine years as the CEO of a Japanese trading company. He holds a Master’s of International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and an Executive Non-Profit Management Certificate from Harvard Business School/Harvard Kennedy School. David received the President's Call to Service Award from the White House for over 4,000 hours of volunteer service over his lifetime.
