CNN selected United Planet as one of only ten nonprofit organizations in the world for their "Be the Change" initiative. Prior to United Planet, David lived in Tokyo, Japan for nine years as the CEO of a Japanese trading company. He holds a Master’s of International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and an Executive Non-Profit Management Certificate from Harvard Business School/Harvard Kennedy School. David received the President's Call to Service Award from the White House for over 4,000 hours of volunteer service over his lifetime.
