On Saturday, November 3, 2018, faculty, staff, and students of Clarksville High School held their official Chartering Ceremony to welcome the newest NSHSS Members into their Chapter. More than 100 NSHSS members were inducted into the CHS NSHSS Chapter. The Clarksville Chapter has organized different activities for this school year including a “School Beautification” event and a “Random Acts of Kindness” event where they were granted a $1,000 grant from the National Youth Leadership Council. On Tuesday, February 12, 2019, faculty, staff, and students of Enterprise High School held their official Chartering Ceremony to welcome the newest NSHSS Members into their Chapter.  More than 60 NSHSS members were inducted into the EHS Chapter.  Mr. Matt Rodgers, Enterprise State Community College, was the keynote speaker and Mr. Brent Harrison, EHS Principal, was in attendance to sign the official charter with NSHSS President, Jack Brockman, and Mrs. Sue Peacock, Chapter Advisor.  Mrs. Peacock is also the recipient of a $1,000 NSHSS grant due to her chapter leadership dedication.  Be on the lookout for more great things to come from our growing NSHSS Chapters!  Click belwo to see more highlights of their ceremony.

The Canada Star NSHSS Chapter in Richmond, BC won't let COVID stop them from helping those in need! Established by Principal and Chapter Advisor, Robert Anstey in 2018, Mr. Anstey knew an NSHSS Chapter would be a great fit for his academically motivated students. Since its inception, the Chapter Members have been very active in their community, giving back to those in need. Recently, they organized a fundraiser and  community outreach project benefitting families in need in the Nunavut region. Check out the photos below!

Mr. Anstey was recently just named a 2020 Claes Nobel Educator of the Year: Top Principal!
