Members can apply for internships in the events or technology department. This is a great opportunity for members to develop professional skills in order to remain competitive, network with a former NFL athlete, and focus on greening the planet through various initiatives.

OMF Internship Description 

1. Events Department

The Ovie Mughelli Foundation hosts many events throughout the summer. Our intern will assist the staff lead for our Green Football program, various Recycle on the Run events, and our Community clean ups. Day-to-day responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring volunteers, communicating with event participants, aiding in the planning of the events, updating spreadsheets in relation to the event, making and fielding phone calls, and designing event collateral.  In addition, our intern will conduct post event wrap up reports and working on new event development. 

2. Technology Department 

He or she will provide support for the staff with main contact being the IT director. Everyday tasks include database administration, web development and maintenance. Assist with new web development initiatives and propose solutions to web-related problems. The applicant should be in school and have a commitment to grassroots organizations. The position is open until filled. Please note that this is an unpaid position.
