New York Member Event
NSHSS welcomes Scholars, Educators and Parents to join us for the New York Member Event. This event will take place at the New York Academy of Medicine Saturday, November 7, 2015. The day begins with a workshop hosted by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Following the workshop is a recognition ceremony and an opportunity to meet and network with high-ranking university admissions representatives from universities around the world during our intimate college fair.

Center for Civil and Human Rights Student Symposium

High school students, college freshmen and college sophomores are invited to participate in a very special interactive symposium in Atlanta, Georgia, co-hosted by NSHSS and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights on Saturday, November 14, 2015. The theme of the symposium is “Finding Inspiration Inside: Recognizing Character, Realizing Potential.“ Scholars will explore character traits and leadership styles of Nobel Peace Laureates. During interactive sessions, you will reflect on your own potential to become social change agents and ability to inspire and influence others. Scholars will experience a personal tour of the Center for Civil and Human Rights Museum, with particular focus on “The Meaning of the Nobel Peace Prize” exhibit.
