(HLnews.com) - The Herald Journal has announced the finalists for their Athlete of the Year. "Hunter Horsley: This Grizzly played two sports, earning multiple letters in both. One of those sports — lacrosse — is recognized as a club sport by the state, but Logan high counts it as a regular sport. He graduated with a 3.75 GPA and has taken some college-level courses...Horsley was vital on both the football and lacrosse teams at Logan High. He played pivotal roles in leading the Grizzlies to state titles in both sports in 2015 and earned all-state accolades in both sports. In football, he moved to quarterback and would up setting a record for rushing yards by a signal caller in a state championship game. In lacrosse, he was a three-year captain, three-year starter and four-year letterman...He was involved in the community in many ways. The National Society of High School Scholars acknowledged him, as well as other organizations.
