Change the World with the Resolution Project

Resolution Project Logo

THE RESOLUTION PROJECT is a unique pathway to action for aspiring young leaders committed to changing the world. Resolution identifies and empowers undergraduate students around the world who wish to launch new social ventures, supported by Resolution’s global network of resources. Resolution finds young social entrepreneurs through Social Venture Challenges held at existing youth conferences like the Clinton Global Initiative University, the Youth Assembly at the United Nations, and others. Resolution helps the winners of its competitions to make a positive impact today through Resolution Fellowships, which include dynamic, hands-on support, mentorship, and grants to implement their ventures and to develop as socially-responsible leaders. Resolution Fellows are working in diverse, high-impact fields such as water, food, sustainable development, education, energy and the environment, equality and empowerment, health and wellness, and humanitarian relief.  Resolution is building a generation of leaders with a lifelong commitment to social responsibility. Please see the Resolution Digital Book and Website for further information.

Resolution Social Venture Challenges

Resolution forms partnerships with youth conferences serving broad communities of university students. Current undergraduate students attending these conferences are invited to propose impactful, socially-responsible projects (“Ventures”) in a multi- stage competition:

  • Venture Proposal: Teams will sign-up and complete a multi-step proposal outlining the Venture implementation and sustainability. Resolution will review eligible submission and invite semifinalists to participate in-person at the conference.
  • SVC Forum: At the conference, semifinalists will showcase their proposals. They will explain their Venture to conference attendees and judges in an informal, science fair- like setting.
  • SVC Finals: Forum judges will select teams to invite to present their Venture to a panel of judges. Presentations will be followed by question and answer sessions.
