December Scholarship Update: Start Preparing for the New Year

National Center for Civil and Human Rights Symposium Essay Contest: “Finding Inspiration Inside: Recognizing Character, Realizing Potential"
These students are the winners of the $1,000 Essay competition submitted for the NCCHR Scholar Symposium, co-hosted by NCCHR and NSHSS. These scholars were recognized at the event on November 7, at the Center in Atlanta, Georgia:

Deadline Extended! NSHSS DECA Entrepreneurial Scholar Award – There is still time to apply!

The DECA-Claes Nobel Entrepreneurial Scholar Award is open to NSHSS students who are also DECA members and who intend to pursue a college major in marketing, finance, hospitality or business. The $1,000 scholarship is open to high school juniors and seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Applicants may be U.S. or international students. A total of three (3) scholarships of $1,000 will be awarded and presented to scholars at the DECA International Career Conference, April 23-26, 2016, in Nashville, Tennessee. The application will be in your member dashboard. Deadline: December 31, 2015.
