NEW! Greenpop Zambia Festival of Action 2017
Scholarship for NSHSS high school members for 1 or 2 weeks during 25 June - 16 July 2017.
Greenpop is an award-winning social enterprise on a mission to (re)connect people with our planet - and have fun doing it! Greenpop plants trees through urban greening and reforestation projects, spreads environmental awareness wherever they go, and runs leadership and eco-education programmes in Southern Africa. The scholarship includes all programme-related expenses in Zambia plus camping accommodation, all catering and ground transportation. $1,000 college scholarships established to encourage and empower young women to assume future leadership roles in their colleges and universities, their careers and communities, and to become mentors for the young women following in their footsteps.

United Planet – International Volunteer Programs – Short and Long-Term Quests
NSHSS partner United Planet is an international non-profit organization, headquartered in Boston, devoted to building a global network of leaders and volunteers which fosters cross-cultural understanding and addresses shared global challenges through immersive international service, internships and collaboration. United Planet is offering a full scholarship for any 1-3 week volunteer program in any of United Planet’s Short-Term Quest Destinations including: Chile, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ghana, Nepal, Peru, Romania, South Africa and Tanzania.
