NSHSS is proud to announce our new partnership with Greenpop, a social enterprise based in Cape Town, South Africa that is on a mission to reconnect people with the planet. They plant trees and activate people through green festivals and workshops - and they have fun doing it! Since 2010 they have planted over 66,000 trees in urban greening and reforestation projects across Southern Africa and spread their environmental message to people across the globe. It's a Treevolution! Get involved.

Each year during June and July, Greenpop runs the Zambia Festival of Action – a three week service learning project which brings together hundreds of high school students and adults from all over the world to learn about sustainability and active citizenship and plant thousands of trees at schools and community farms.

Later this year, we will be announcing a special opportunity for NSHSS members to attend the 2017 Zambia Festival of Action and get involved in the Treevolution. Check your email in the coming months for more information.
