NSHSS is excited to offer our high school and college members an opportunity to attend a College to Career Event hosted by Tesoro Corporation on Saturday, May 14, 2016. This special event will be held at Tesoro’s Los Angeles refinery in Carson, California, the largest refinery on the West Coast and a major producer of clean fuels.
NSHSS is working closely with a team of volunteers from Tesoro Corporation to plan this event. Activities planned for the day will offer our members the opportunity to explore Tesoro internship and career opportunities by talking directly with Tesoro employees of diverse backgrounds. Members will also meet with university representatives to discuss major and career exploration in addition to resources available on campus.
NSHSS members that register to attend the event will be invited to compete for an exclusive opportunity to enjoy lunch and a roundtable discussion with Tesoro Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Goff at the event. Mr. Goff serves as an Advisory Board Member to NSHSS.
This event provides a tremendous opportunity to members interested in undergraduate or graduate studies and/or considering pursuing a career in one of the following areas:
