The Youth Assembly at the United Nations (YA@UN) is a unique platform created to foster dialogue and generate partnerships between exceptional youth, UN high officials and staff, private sector, and civil society. The organization is committed to empowering youth to become active participants in the success of the UN Millennium Development Goals and the transition to the Post 2015 Development Agenda.
NSHSS is proud to partner with the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation, which is offering NSHSS members the opportunity to attend the Global Leaders Conference Experience from August 1-8, 2015, which includes admission to the following:
• Pre-Youth Assembly program at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus in Madison, New Jersey (August 1 – 4)
• 2015 Summer Youth Assembly at the United Nations in New York City (August 5 – 7)
• Volunteer service project in New York City (August 8)
The program is open to students between the ages 16- 24. Participants must be 16 years of age by July 31, 2015.
The Pre-Youth Assembly program, the Social Ventures for Social Development (SV4SD) Seminar, is an intensive certificate-based mini-course developed and delivered by Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) with the support of Friendship Ambassadors Foundation.
