NSHSS is awarding $1,500 travel awards to attend a special member program hosted by Stockholm University during the annual Nobel Week, at which time the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies, the Nobel Lectures and numerous other festivities take place in honor of the 2016 Nobel Laureates.

United Planet – International Volunteer Programs – Short and Long-Term Quests
NSHSS partner United Planet is an international non-profit organization, headquartered in Boston, devoted to building a global network of leaders and volunteers which fosters cross-cultural understanding and addresses shared global challenges through immersive international service, internships and collaboration. United Planet is offering a full scholarship for any 1-3 week volunteer program in any of United Planet’s Short-Term Quest Destinations including: Chile, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ghana, Nepal, Peru, Romania, South Africa and Tanzania. Students must be age 16 or older. NSHSS members may also apply for $500 partial scholarships for any of the quest programs. NSHSS Advisor Board Member Greg Goff, President and CEO of Tesoro Corporation, is sponsoring college scholarships based on outstanding leadership to help encourage and recognize young leaders in their schools and communities and to help invest in their higher education.
Eligibility requirements: High school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0 who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in their schools and/or communities.
Hollister Co. Anti-Bullying Scholarships

Hollister Co. has launched an ongoing college scholarships program for outstanding students who have academically persevered while experiencing bullying and for those who have led anti-bullying efforts in their schools and communities. (Formerly called the A&F Anti-Bullying Scholarship).
Eligibility Requirements: High school seniors with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants may be U.S. or international students. Scholarship Award: Ten $2,500 scholarships renewable for three years.
